My name is Joseph Gourlay. I have lived in Houston Texas my entire life, and while I have spent some time traveling i have never spent more than a week away from home. College is imminent and highschool is not that far in the rearview so i have chosen to spend a semester in a country with a culture different from what i have grown up in and a language utterly foreign to me. Why have i chosen to do this? I do not know but this blog will let y’all follow me to Taiwan and everywhere else i go.
